Why Source Your Strawberries from Egypt?

Answers to common questions from international fruit importers.

What are the characteristics of your main varieties?

We focus on the most successful export varieties: Fortuna (known for its early onset and bright red color), Festival (valued for its excellent shelf life and heart shape), and Sensation (prized for its exceptional aroma and high sugar content). All varieties are Emcocal Certified, ensuring superior genetic quality and disease resistance.

How do you ensure the quality of exported berries?

Our strawberries are hand-picked at optimal ripeness and immediately transported to our cold storage. Each berry is meticulously sorted to ensure it is free from defects. As an Emcocal Certified supplier, we maintain strict adherence to phytosanitary standards, providing a product that is both safe and delicious.

What are your minimum order quantities for air and sea freight?

For air freight, we accommodate shipments starting from 500 kg. For sea freight to nearby destinations, we provide full 40ft reefer container loads (approx. 9-10 tons). We offer flexible shipping terms to establish long-term partnerships with global wholesalers.

Our Farm-to-Market Strawberry Export Process

Maintaining the cold chain and quality from the Nile Delta to your warehouse.

Cultivation & Certification

Grown in ideal sandy soils using Emcocal Certified mother plants. This ensures our Fortuna, Festival, and Sensation crops are high-yielding and resilient.

Hand-Harvesting

Berries are hand-picked by skilled workers to prevent bruising. We harvest early in the morning to maintain low field heat and preserve firmness.

Precision Sorting & Packing

Each punnet is weighted and checked for uniformity. We offer 2.5kg cartons (10/11 punnets) and 5kg cartons designed for maximum ventilation during air or sea transit.

Cold Chain Logistics

Immediate pre-cooling and temperature-controlled transport (0-4°C) ensure our strawberries maintain their 'just-picked' freshness upon arrival.
